I'm starting this blog for you. You are Peepaw's and my first Grandchild. I want to document this journey and someday you will read it and know just how much we love you. I want to capture everything I can. I want to tell you stories about the people who love you and tell stories about your journey. It starts today, the day when everything changed for us......

We found out about you today, April 30, 2012. What joy you brought to me and your Peepaw, without you even trying. We love you already!
Your Mommy and Daddy surpised me at work with an ultrasound picure of you. I started jumping and crying, but I couldn't speak. I probably was making a spectacle of myself, but as you come to know your Nana, you'll understand that it's normal. I made a copy of the ultrasound and when I got home I told your Peepaw that I had a surprise for him. One look and he knew and he was so happy! 
You are 6 weeks old. It's funny saying that, since you aren't even born yet. Mommy and Daddy said they heard your heartbeat and I wanted to scream for joy! You see, Mommy and Daddy have been trying real hard to have you and to hear your heartbeat was a welcome sound.
We don't know if you are a girl or a boy, but it doesn't matter. You are ours and you are loved! Our hearts are overflowing with love and the wonder of it all!
